Pictured here is a glass bowl with dried flowers inside, held by a human hand. I used one strobe with a diffuser along with a circle reflector to obtain this lighting effect. There was also a black backdrop placed behind the objects.
I like this photo because of the way the lighting is controlled to show minimal reflections on the glass vase that the flowers are in. I also enjoy that the stark contrast of the image makes the flowers stand out. The small amount of light hitting the model's hand is my favorite part of the photograph.
